Expecting Mothers in Movement is a group for women who are expecting a child to take the opportunity to get out into nature, participate in physical movement and connect with others experiencing similar transition periods. This small group size will facilitate prepartum topics such as exercise, self-care, fatigue, and general concerns about getting out with a changing body and brain. This group will partake in approximately 1 hour of moderate walking as a group per week as well as supported group discussions on topic of the day.
Five weekly 80 minute sessions starting Sept 24
- Engage in movement-based exercises in group setting.
- Identify strategies to navigate challenges associated with pregnancy and spending time outdoors.
- Gain and apply knowledge for empowerment in an outdoor setting.

How strenuous will this group be? This group is designed to build on itself and is open to participants of any ability level.

Cost: $30 per session if paid in full at beginning of 5 sessions ($150.00 total)
